Oooh...more Koigu...

C_p1_1

Ok. I know it looks like I've cast on for yet another project, BUT...

I'm on the last leg of my Koigu socks and I was craving knitting up something on my Skacel DPNs. So, I picked up this little sock again with the intention of finishing the pair in the next few weeks.

I'm using the Crusoe pattern from the Knitty archives. You really need to work this sock on the tight end, as it has no ribbing and the wraps will droop if there isn't proper tension. Also, the recommended 48 stitches worked really well for my narrow feet. However, a lot of people had difficulty with only 48 and added-on according to their needs.

I love the stranded technique with the Koigu. It does a great job of breaking up the variegation and gives it a completely different feel. I'm trying to figure out other ways to use this technique with Koigu or other variegated fibers.

In any case, I have cast on for another sweater using Rowan's Cotton Tape and I have some other updates to make. I'll be posting it all tomorrow once I can grab a moment to photograph everything.

Let's see how many projects I can have going at once!

I must be stopped!

No more casting on!
