Ok. I have this thing about Koigu. See, I LOVE the colorways, the feel of it is unsurpassed, and because it's so hard to get (most places won't be getting anymore for at least six months) I feel like I need to use it very judiciously.
So...I end up hoarding it.
I literally have enough Koigu for about ten pairs of socks, yet I haven't been able to bring myself to break into the Koigu stash. Most people think this behavior is very strange -- and it probably is, seeing as it plays into my OCD tendencies -- but I can't help it!
So, I made a decision. I decided I'd use my least favorite colorways for a few pairs of socks. Last week, I broke into my first hanks. It wasn't easy, but it had to be done. I know. It's silly, but please don't laugh at me.
The end result is that I love the Koigu even MORE now and find myself knitting the sock slower than usual so I can make it last and savor each tactile sensation.
Sigh.
I seriously need a job!
Here is my progress thus far:

They grow up so fast, don't they? [Sniff. Sniff]
