Pampered Feet

Another odd thing about me and socks in general is the fact that once I finish a sock, I always feel weird actually wearing it. I tend to think of them as little objects of effort that shouldn't be "wasted" on my feet. Especially MY feet.

But, having been sick the past week, and trying to get rid of all these strange hang-ups which surround my knitting, I decided my feet needed some pampering.

Also, I ran out of clean socks.

Now I can say that I fully understand the allure of the sock. Not only is it a pleasure to knit, a convenient tote-around project, but the end result is so comfy that there's no going back. I plan to spend my summer making enough socks to last me through the winter. :-)
